Hi Anne, this type of duck is one of the most common and most popular. (See the rubber duck field guide on the home page) Lots of companies have made ducks just like these over the years and generic models of it area available around the world. The B&BW duckies are particularly well made and so they're (in my opinion) a little more special than the average "long neck duck". Actually though some really nice ones yellow ones of these were sold in the 70s. Anyway, maybe this is more than you want to know!
