I've gotten a number of Deluxe Ducks that weren't as well made as some of the others and that didn't have their hang tags attached and that weren't properly mounted under the wire. I suspect that they use more than one factory and that some of them just aren't very good. I don't have my Triplets with me, so I don't remember about brush strokes. If they have the hang tags and they orange square on the chest they are probably the real deal. Also check the box to see if it says Room Interior Products. I seem to recall that the second "batch" of Deluxe Ducks including the Triplets and disco duck weren't as well made as the first and third batches.
