I just hauled out two enormous 36 gallon bins full of duckies to pick ones to put on display at the local public library for the month of October, and, grr, every single Rubba Duck in those bins was sticky or stained or both. Not a single other duck, by any other manufacturer, had any problems. Baby Pink and Blue were particularly bad, with random yellow spotting (stains) all over their entire bodies. Duckhorn fared especially poorly too. 75% of the other Rubbas had yellow stains on them, too. All the Rubbas were sticky, and I had to wash them all (like 25 of 'em.)
I've seen this happen with other toy lines. What's happening is the plasticizer is coming out of the vinyl, and there's no cure for it; they'll just have to be washed once every few months and be kept seperate from the other ducks. Man!

At least my Bunny isn't stained.
