As I was doing some research into different companies selling and producing rubber ducks, I noticed that many of the themed ducks on Ebay and in several shops worldwide are referred to on this forum as Oriental Trading ducks. Does anyone here know if they are indeed the company that designs them and presumably has them produced by some chinese factory? I'm interested in buying a large lot of different design to resell but wan't able to find the company that produces them. One user on this forum stated that he buys them in bulk from the same distributor Oriental Trading gets them from. Since shipping several thousand to Europe from the US will be quite expensive already, I'm hoping to find the original distributor to get them from Europe or directly from China. Still haven't figured out Alibaba completely as it seems hundreds of factories there offer the same products and I'm not interested in buying a couple of thousand of the same model but rather as many different models in one bulk order.
 
Hope anyone can give me some advise!  
 

Yes I did of course, they don't ship to Europe according to their website and I tried asking about their wholesale opportunities through their live chat customer support. They then asked me to send them an email and am waiting for their feedback.

Others have tried to find the distributor in the past... even offering rewards for information.  None, as far as I know, were successful.  Apparently it's a huge secret!

Thanks for all your replies so far already, just got an email from Oriental Trading telling me that they are able to ship to me. So that's good news.
 
Indeed if they have designed them themselves / own the rights, I'm more than happy to order them from them. It's just that I wasn't sure if they were as they seemed to be all over Ebay and I was curious who was distributing them to the different shops and traders.

Yes ... they are. They just haven't yet been released on OTC' site. I order in bulk from their distributor.
