These are some of my duckies I made from clay. ( I finally learned how to attach a picture! YAY! )

I usually use polymer clay or Model Magic to make them, and then I paint them with acrylics.

Those are really nice livducks. How long does it take you to make one?

Thank you both so much!!!
Sweetmelissa - It takes less than an hour for me to sculpt it, but if I use air dry clay it has to dry for 24 hours. Then the next day I paint it, so really in all it probably takes no more than 2 hours.

Those are so cute, hard to think it only took 2 hours. You should try selling some. I'd buy all 3 of those.

Maybe I will try to sell some once I make more. I actually did want to get a booth at a local Arts and Heritage Festival ( Because I make other things from clay too), but $1,000 was a little too much to pay for one because I don't think I'd make too much money selling my things...  Sad

Are these your first duckies? Very well made for the first batch. If you do make a few more and would like to sell a few, just let me know. I think all 3 of those would look very cute sitting on my computer desk.

I had a few prototypes that weren't very good, so I guess this is my first good batch. But I already have a few more that need to be painted, so when I have some more done I'll let you know.

They're all packed up and ready to go. Lots of bubble wrap, so they should arrive safely. Should have them out by tomorrow or the day after that.

Melissa, I made a few while here in Florida but I believe I made a mistake of letting them dry outside, all but one cracked, possibly because of the humidity. I'm not sure, but they aren't as nice anymore.  cry I'm leaving in 2 days, then going home but only staying a day or two, after that I'm heading to Minnesota for 3 days (just was told about this.). I'm really sorry that I'm making you wait nearly a month for these, but I've just been so busy and I don't want to give you any duckies that have issues... I'll try my hardest to complete them soon. Also I am posting this here because Comcast email isn't working right now.

No hurry Olivia. Whenever you find the time. I told you those are too cute, my sister keeps trying to walk off with mine lol. Now if you find any cool duckies wherever you go, grab me one and I'll pay or trade.
