Duckplanet's founder Charlotte Lee recently made an appearance on Evening Magazine, a regional broadcast program taped in Seattle. You can see the segment here:

Thanks! I thought I would be nervous during the taping, but it was actually pretty fun! The ducks tells me that they enjoyed it too.  Smiley

Did you make all the squeeky background noises, or did they use "stock" sound? I was picturing them asking you to squeeze all your most interesting ducks for a variety of sound!
Nice job, so cool to see. I feel proud.

Thanks everybody!

Duckaru: It was really fun. They didn't use any stock sounds. One of the ducks the camera man squeezed for the camera, but the others I squeezed myself. It was the reporter's idea to have me squeeze a bunch of interesting ducks after I mentioned that they mad very different sounds. So for a while I just ran around grabbing ducks that I thought would make fun sounds. Then the camera man just filmed me squeezing them a few times one by one.  Smiley

It  is nice to know that there are other engineering minded people out there that collect rubber duckies.  I email the link to the video to my engineering advisor at school to show her that even UW assistant professors collect rubber duckies.

Thank You.
